Pre-birth orders:
Be sure to call us when your baby is born so we can start your service. We will not make a second delivery to you until you call and ask for it.

Gift orders & Gift registry:
You may purchase gifts for friends, just send us the information and we can set up the account. The minimum service is 4 weeks. Refunds are not given for unused service within the 4 weeks.

How does the diaper service work?
Our diaper delivery person provides weekly delivery and pick-up to your door. You will not need to be home for deliveries. We recommend that you set your soiled diapers out the night before your delivery day to assure a smooth pick up and drop off.

You will receive 80 (or whatever the amount you ordered) diapers the 1st week and then what you returned the week before.

We charge you for the number of diapers you are ordering (renting) each week, not the number of diapers you use.

If you are going to be out of town, or for some other reason do not need a delivery of diapers, you may schedule a vacation hold on your account. We can either pick up your soiled diapers or completely skip you.  As long as you won’t be using our diapers while you are away, you will not be charged for the week(s) that you aren’t receiving the service. If you will be using the diapers during the hold, you will be charged as usual.

Please call to schedule your vacation hold at least 3 working days prior to your delivery day.

What do I do with the soiled diapers?
Your clean diapers are delivered in a reusable bag. Use this bag to line your hamper and return the diapers.  It is not necessary to soak or rinse the diapers but please empty the solid waste before you place the diapers in the bag. Do not use the diapers as burp cloths the milk causes mold.
You will be charged a per diaper fee* for diapers that have mold.
($1.00 per diaper).

What do I do on my delivery day?
Deliveries start very early. Please set out your soiled diapers the night before your delivery day. After the first delivery, you will have a general idea of when your delivery will be and what time the driver picks up, but this will vary due to vacations, sickness, weather, holidays, etc. Please tie the top of the bag and set it out the night before.

What if my bag gets stolen?
Believe it or not, bags do get stolen. We ask that you make sure that you place your bag in a secure location. If however, a bag does get stolen we will need a police report for insurance purposes.  You will not be charged for stolen diapers if we receive a police report.

What do I do if I forget to set out my soiled diapers?
If we are not able to get the soiled diapers, your driver will not deliver your clean bundle. We will call you to try and avoid a return visit. There will be a $10 charge if the driver has to return to your house to pick up your diapers.

How many diapers will I get each week?
You will receive clean diapers equal to the number of soiled diapers you set out the week before. In total, you will always have the number of diapers you ordered.  The typical amount is 80 Newborns/Preemies, 50 Mediums or 40 Supers.

How do I pay for service?
There are several ways to pay:
  • Leave a check in an envelope taped to the outside of your bag of soiled diapers.
  • Mail a payment (check or money order).
Note: there is a $30.00 charge for returned checks.

We will bill you every month. We require a 1-month minimum payment.  Payment is due within 3 days of the start of your billing cycle. Deliveries stop when payment is not received for that cycle.

Can I order different sizes?
  • Preemie - extra small for babies 3-7 lbs.
  • Infant – for babies weighing 6-12 lbs.
  • Regular - for babies weighing 10-25 lbs.
  • Super - extra thick super-absorbent diapers for 18 - 25 lbs.
  • Toddler - extra large & extra thick for babies 22 - 35 lbs.

How do I keep costs down?

  1. If you plan to travel, or for any reason will not be using the diapers, schedule a vacation hold. (See above).
  2. We often have specials when you refer a friend to our service, usually giving both you and a friend a discount when your friend joins, or when you join our service for the first time.  See our Current Specials here for details.
Can I make changes in my order?
Yes. For any change, whether to increase or decrease amounts or sizes of diapers, or to change your address, please call 3 working days before your delivery day. This is very helpful in producing accuracy and efficiency in your change request.

How long should I use diaper service?  How do I cancel my service?
Most babies need diapering for at least 24 months. When you wish to discontinue service, please call 3 working days before the end of your billing cycle. You will not be refunded if you cancel during a billing cycle. All diapers clean & dirty must be returned on the day you cancel. A per diaper fee* will be added to your account for diapers that you keep or destroy by shoe polish, grease, car wax, mold etc.  The minimum service is 4 weeks. No refunds.  After we receive diapers, we will then return your deposit, minus costs for missing and destroyed diapers.
* $1.00 per diaper

How can I avoid diaper rash?
Check your baby's diaper often. There is no substitute for a clean diaper. A cotton diaper does not hide the wetness so you can tell when it needs to be changed. Wetness does not cause a rash. Rash is caused by germs, bacteria, acid, and ammonia build-up. Parents who use disposable diapers are fooled into thinking the diaper is clean simply because it feels dry. Changing less often to gain personal convenience is not the best childcare. Remember, a diaper is not a toilet.

Proper hand washing between changing is very important to keep yeast infection-type rashes from spreading between children. This type of rash is unique in that it usually requires an antibiotic prescription from a doctor to cure.

When a red, sensitive bottom appears after a loose & highly acidic BM. (often the result of medication), letting the baby's bottom soak in a tub of clear water does wonders to cool and clean residue trapped in skin pores and crevices.

If a rash persists, consult your doctor.

Are cloth diapers better for the environment?
Cloth diapers are much better for the environment.

Land fills are simply not designed for the synthetic plastics and human waste that accompanies disposable diapers. This waste can eventually end up in the water table.

It is estimated that roughly 5 million tons of untreated waste and 2 billion tons of urine, feces, plastic and paper are added to landfills every year from disposable diapers.1 It is actually illegal to dump human waste in most landfills, since human feces and urine can contaminate the water table. Disposable diaper companies get around this legality by printing on every package that human waste should be rinsed and discarded in the toilet, before throwing the diaper away. Nonetheless, less than one half of one percent of all waste from single use diapers go into the sewer system.2 Our service puts all human waste through the public sewer system, for proper disposal.

What is available with the diaper service?
As we grow, we will offer products such as a variety of diaper covers, wipes, and other diapering supplies. The products can be order online or over the phone and we will deliver them with your diaper delivery. There will not be a shipping charge for these orders since we will be picking up and delivering your diapers at your home anyway.

What size diaper should I order?
You can always call our office for assistance. Here are general guidelines:

  • Preemie – babies weighing 2-7 lbs, diapers are about 12" x 8"
  • Infant – 6-12 lbs, 13.5"x11.5"
  • Regular – 10-25 lbs, 18.5 x 13.5
  • Super – 22 lbs + 19" x 14
How many diaper covers should I have?
It depends on how often you want to do laundry. Some parents get by with 2-3 covers because the covers are rinsed when soiled. Some parents want to launder the covers after every use, others are laundering when soiled instead of just rinsing. We recommend 2-3 Prorap or similar cover, 1 pocket diaper and then another one of your choice. The pocket diapers are great for nighttime or travel, the Prorap or similar can be used several times before they need to be laundered. The wool or fleece are really top of the line and provide the ultimate in comfort.

How are the diapers washed?
We adhere to the requirements of the Real Diaper Industry Association and The National Association of Diaper Services. We wash in water above 160 - 180 degrees with environmentally safe detergent in energy efficient machines.
